Pros: Accurate weight, the backlit screen is easy to read, and it includes a number of useful measures (fat %, water %, etc.).

Cons: The full display moves too quickly to read. It displays each screen for all of two seconds.

Truthfully, the fast-clear display has been enough of a problem for me that I'm returning the scale. I bought the scale because I wanted to see those measures, but they pass too quickly. It's not impossible -- you can get the display to repeat that 2-second cycle over and over -- but it was too much like work, and I eventually gave up.

First, the special percentages would not work. Later, this scale did not even work for regular weight. The company just responded that they were too busy to respond to emails. I have not returned this yet so I don't know if they would replace. I don't know if it is worth postage to try to get another one and not sure if they would replace/fix.

I upgraded from another Homedics scale that only had body fat % in the hopes of getting better information. Mission accomplished! This scale gives me good information in a quick (often too quick) easy to use format. My only real complaint is that the information only stays on the screen for a second or two before cycling to the next set of information and then turning itself off. To read the information fully I almost always have to turn the scale back on and have it display the previous numbers again.
The actual numbers for Body fat, water and muscle percentage are good estimates. Unfortunately, from day to day they vary up to two percent. For instance, in the last three days my body fat has been measured at 22%, 24.1% and 22%. This implies that over the course of a few days (weighing first thing in the morning after) I first gained 4.3 pounds of fat and then lost 4 pounds of fat which is obviously ridiculous.
Still, these numbers are consistent enough for me to know I'm somewhere in the area of 23% body fat. It'd be great for the scale to give me a 100% accurate result every time, but I doubt any scale on the market can do that. The technology just isn't that precise yet.
Overall I'm quite happy with the scale and I'm glad I bough it. Not a perfect product, but a good one.
